Longbow Research publishes three different products on a frequent basis. Each is intended to serve a different set of customer needs.

Survey Reports:
Most surveys are conducted on a monthly basis while the remaining few are conducted quarterly. Survey Reports are summaries of the research work and findings. They seldom exceed 7-8 pages and are intended to provide the investor with a quick digest on bottom-up fundamental trends within a given industry. Survey Reports are typically published within 1-2 days of the completion of the research work.
Company Reports:
Our company reports tend to focus on the key value drivers as well as emerging points of interest that are identified with our survey work. As a result, we believe that Longbow Research Company Reports provide investors with a different perspective on a company's business. We move beyond the conference call topics and include additional analysis of emerging trends in pricing, market share, new product success/failure, retail resets, distributor inventories, etc. As a result, we are able to alert investors to these market moving developments before they are discussed by the companies on their quarterly conference calls. Often, these developments result in companies exceeding or falling short of consensus estimates and the ensuing re-pricing of the shares.
Morning Notes:
The Longbow Research Morning Notes are distributed over First Call, Multex, and Bloomberg. These services typically provide investors with our latest perspective on how a covered company's earnings power is changing. The drivers for these notes are typically survey results or insights gathered from certain industry sources.
Customer Services:
As a sell-side firm with a buy-side culture, we are devoted to assisting our customers in outperforming their benchmarks. We work to achieve this goal in a number of ways above and beyond the writing of reports. These include conference calls with channel contacts, management team one-on-ones in our customers' offices and operational tours of industry facilities. Longbow Research will also undertake customized research projects for our customers on a fully-exclusive basis.
Longbow Research - Penton Media "Business Conditions Survey":
Working in collaboration with Penton Media, we have developed a highly-focused research product that is based on large sample size surveys of qualified subscribers to some of Penton's 100+ trade publications. This monthly product is highly quantitative in its presentation and is sold on an annual subscription basis to a limited number of institutional investors.
