EXPERIENCE:

• JoAnne has been working in sell-side research since 2004, covering semiconductors, semi equipment, and emerging technologies. Prior to joining Longbow, she was senior analyst at boutique sell-side securities firms, Punk, Ziegel & Company and FTN Midwest Research.
• Before moving into equity research, JoAnne served as Senior Business Strategist at Albany NanoTech, the home of numerous collaborative semiconductor manufacturing research ventures, including IBM’s Common Platform.
• JoAnne also spent twelve years as an academic economist conducting research into international financial markets, economic growth, and international trade. She held faculty positions at the University of Colorado-Boulder, NYU’s Stern School of Business, and the University at Albany (SUNY).

QUALIFICATIONS:

• JoAnne holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Rochester.
• JoAnne was a founding faculty member of the University at Albany’s School of Nanoscience and Nanoengineering.
